Zion National Park- Our Romantic Suite Stay at The Desert Pearl Inn

You know those vacations where you cant wait to get home?!

Well this wasn't one of them.

I left with one hand reaching towards the door as Aaron pulled my other hand to the car.

"I'll see you again soon..." I whispered to the wood panels.

+ here I am already planning my next visit.

We chose to celebrate our anniversary spending a week at the Desert Pearl Inn,... BEST IDEA EVER! There is so many fun hikes and things to do in Zion National Park... but within our short window, I listed all the main things we would recommend hitting up!

  • Day One Highlights:

Took initiative to help ourselves to the fresh warm chocolate chip cookies awaiting our arrival in the check in area and picked our jaws up off the freshly polished floors as we entered the suite. Who wouldn't be on cloud nine with a balcony adjacent a softly flowing river bed?!

Drove around the park a bit, got acquainted with geography and planned our next two days.

Went to The Sol Market and gathered some dinner and goodies for a good wine and cheese night and enjoyed sitting out on our balcony for a sunset session. The kitchen made it SO easy to cook a home cooked meal and had all of the utensils needed..including a dishwasher!

  • Day Two Highlights:

Made breakfast in the room.

We hiked to the Canyon Overlook! Its one of the easier and faster hikes and its got an amazing view at the end! I did get brave and sit near the edge...how? I don't know.

All of the shops and restaurants is within walking distance from The Desert Pearl Inn (not to mention the Park entrance itself) , so we walked to a nearby Deli and got some sandwiches that were real yum!

After a long day of walking and hiking, the massive Jacuzzi was the ULTIMATE pamper. We sat and watched the sunset with a glass of wine and enjoyed our view of the mountains change colors right before our eyes.

Walked over to Oscar's for dinner, which was amazing Mexican food!

  • Day Three Highlights :

Made breakfast in the hotel room.

Hiked the Narrows, which froze us to death during this time of year but was oh so worth it! Usually you would need to rent some "waiters" to help you walk across the water, but we just walked until we got to the water which was still magnificent.

We then hit the Jacuzzi again and rested on the balcony (all of the rooms have a beautiful view at the Desert Pearl Inn so you cant lose!) before taking on another hike to do a styled wedding shoot (major inspo comin) that I will show you guys more of soon! (I cant wait!)

Got date night ready (There are three separate sinks to get ready with in different areas of the suite)...I know...dreamy + finished the trip off with a bang with walking to a nice dinner at Bit and Spur which is a more fancy great choice!

OVERALL- I 100% recommend The Desert Pearl Inn... it was the most clean and beautiful hotel suite I have ever stayed at. The amenities were wonderful and falling asleep to the sound of a river dancing over rocks...is just as amazing as it sounds. Ask for room 612.
